| About Karen: |
Karen is a writer, poet, recovering middle-manager, and best of all - an ARTbundance™ life coach. She has reinvented herself several times during her working career, both by necessity and choice. She delights in helping others choose to find their own power and prosperity through personal growth and discovery - at every cycle of their lives. Being in a coaching relationship is a way of getting to know yourself. Who you are is the beginning of awareness about yourself and awareness is the first step towards change and growth. Karen comes from a wide background of active involvement in women’s issues and organizations. She has taught journal writing to many different kinds of groups, from business women to teens at risk. Karen loves to travel, make books, write and sit on the balcony and watch the Mississippi river flow by.

In her own words: ARTbundance™ is about using art to help a person get out of bounds, get away from the tapes and voices in your head that keep you from going or knowing where you want to go in life. ARTbundance™ is a gateway to who you want to be. Engraved in golden letters over that gateway is the word “Gratitude.” Gratitude is where it all begins - counting your blessings one by one, every day.

Karen's unique specialties are I love to help people see choices. Often, that is what holds people back - either not wanting to make a choice, or not being able to see the choices that are available. It is such an important part of moving forward - even though moving forward sometimes means stepping back a bit. I believe that it is never too late to be who you always wanted to be, and that you should try things even if you have been told you are bad at it (or maybe because someone told you that). I think many people don’t dream enough, and are at a critical Dream Poverty Level. Dreams can be made real - so dream, baby, dream.

I enjoy working with Boomer women who are at a crossroads or have changing life roles and are looking for “What’s next?”. My ideal client is ready and willing to commit to change and willing to play a bit.
