About Karlene:
I have always been involved in art and music and writing from an early age. This is what has made my artistic and creative self keep these pursuits a part of my everyday life. It is the heartbeat of my soul. Today I am an active Fine Artist as well as using Inspirational art activities as “Art Retreats” to enhance life choices and to inspire personal and spiritual growth. I am currently in a mentoring continuum of study with Daniel J. Keys. I express an inner spirit through the viewpoint of light and color using oil, watercolor, and pastel to create an impressionistic design of a still life, a figurative study or a landscape that invites the viewer to share her joy of the moment of life that is captured in a representational painting. This is a spiritual connection to all of God’s creation. To Him I give gratitude and praise. I am a Keynote speaker and a Life Coach certified by the ArtBundance Program. I have developed "Art Retreat" Days with Art Assignments and inspirational/spiritual sharing that provides the creative expression for enhancing healing of mind, body and spirit. I am a published writer in the Inspirational genre as well as Children’s Picture Books. All are available at Amazon.com. I am a native of Fresno, California and received my education in this community from grammar school through the University undergraduate and graduate levels. I am a mother of four and a grandmother of eight. My husband, Mayo, and I make our home in Fresno as well as in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. I love my family and friends and like nothing more than the occasions to be with them. I’ve been fortunate to be inspired by so many family, friends, and mentors, that my desire is to share my gratitude to be the inspiration to others.
ARTbundance™ means to me: As I bring love, beauty and inspiration through service to others I am rooted in the Cornerstones and Principles of ARTbundance. ART bundance was a training program that developed attitudes and shifts of thinking and an approach of bringing sunshine into the mind, body and spirits of anyone involved with me in the "Joys of creativity." ARTbundance allows grace to happen as a reflection of anyone I serve and as an inspiration to me in everything I do.
My ARTbundance certification defines an inspired journey through creative expression. The principles of Gratitude, Intuition, Balance, Vision, Attraction, Choice, Action, Connection and Service. These foundation principles establish the communication and service through Life Coaching and KeyNote Presentations. They always remain a prayerful collaboration with the Divine Creator.
